Join us for this lively debate and learn about both offerings. In this age of IT Consumerization, control of these divergent devices has become critical!

In the IBM corner we have James Wang of Sirius leading the charge and in the Microsoft corner is Adnan Cartwright of Integrity Solutions leading his team of experts. Jeff Mitchell

JeffMitchell

Jeff Mitchell is an IT problem solver, bringing passion, expertise, and finesse to his work with both people and technology. During his fourteen years in the field, Jeff has identified and implemented IT solutions ranging from home networks for individual clients to enterprise-class deployment of private and hybrid cloud services. Jeff has won new clients and satisfied existing ones. He has developed partnerships with vendors. Finally, he has managed staff and streamlined operations, improving the efficiency of IT departments.

Like so many of the field’s leaders, Jeff began to gain experience in IT at a young age, repairing family and friends’ computers as a teen, installing the CCTV system at his high school, and doing freelance computer maintenance and networking after graduation.

In 2009, Jeff became Chief Technology Officer for CRC Data Technologies in Destin, Florida. Thanks to Jeff’s leadership, CRC’s mission evolved from repairing computers, running an internet café, and installing SMB networks to providing virtualization and cloud services for a new and larger clientele. As CTO, Jeff helped CRC achieve partnerships with Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, EMC, and VMWare. He broadened CRC’s customer base by networking and defining sales processes for new business. Jeff streamlined CRC’s business operations by training and licensing technicians, increasing their billings, and pushing to eliminate the unprofitable Internet café.

Jeff was successful at CRC, but he would soon discover what he calls “the dream job I didn’t know I wanted.” In 2012, Bit-Wizards needed a Director of Information Technology and Office 365 Practice Manager; Jeff applied, and then suddenly found himself working “shoulder to shoulder with the best people I’ve worked with, a really great team.”

Bringing expertise in Office 365 (Lync, Exchange, SharePoint) and Microsoft System Center, Jeff helped Bit-Wizards move its clients’ IT infrastructure to the cloud and automate IT system management. As Director of IT, Jeff deepened established partnerships with Windows Azure and Windows Intune, making an unprecedented range of services available to Bit-Wizards’ customers, including cloud-based networking, storage, and operating system management. Under Jeff’s leadership, the Bit-Wizards’ IT department has grown, providing additional value to Bit-Wizards customers.

Jeff’s work at Bit-Wizards has earned praise from CEO Vince Mayfield, who asserts that “Jeff possesses the ability to transcend the technical and bridge the needs of the business in order to create an effective technology solution. He is forward thinking and is able to translate complex technical solutions into every day terminology that non-technical people can understand. He does not believe in technology for the sake of technology. Jeff always puts the customer first, and makes their needs the top priority.”

Since April 2013, Jeff has been a member of the Pensacola ITT Tech’s Program Advisory Committee, contributing to the school’s degree programs in Information Systems and Cybersecurity and Network Systems Administration.
