As some of you might remember, our last Mobile App Hackathon in Florida was held last December in Orlando – we had an AWESOME turnout from the community with over 73 attendees! We’re going to be returning for another Mobile App Hackathon on May 11th and 12th at MiamiShared and we wanted to make sure we reached out to all of you! The goal of this event is for attendees (technical & non-technical) to build mobile apps (HTML5/JS, PHP, Ruby, iOS, whatever!), get fed, compete for prizes across different categories and most importantly: meet new people and scout for teammates to work on new or current projects. We will have a full day of coding and the chance to demo your work at the end! Designers are not only welcome, but encouraged to come as they are often in high demand. These events can be a great place to spark new ideas or to finally have the chance to build that one you’ve had in the backburner!
