The goal of Code Miami is to host an event that will bring the Web App Community together in an environment to facilitate learning through speaker-hosted sessions, as well as informal peer discussions. The UnCon/BarCamp style discussions will be requested and voted on by participants, prior to the event.

Code Miami will be a community-led event, meaning volunteer, speakers, participants, and maybe even sponsors will be based in the Miami metro area. It’s a more informal event, there are currently three tracks: Architects, Creatives, and Promoters. Each track will have about three speakers and 2-3 open-forum discussions on previously agreed topics.  Topics are geared toward the latest technologies and best practices, for example, our current speakers will discuss HTML5 and another Application Development with Clean Code.

For the open discussions, participants will request topics similar to how most unconf-style conferences are done, but can also vote on them via the website.
