In recognition of Presidential Executive Order 13636: “Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity” the Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) released a Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity

The resulting framework, created through public-private collaboration, provides a common language to address and manage cyber risk in a cost-effective way based on business needs, without placing additional regulatory requirements on businesses.

Join the InfraGard and Cloud Security Alliance, South Florida Chapters at Miami Data Vault as they jointly present an introductory workshop on using the NIST CyberSecurity Framework to improve the understanding of and use of the CSF in any size business.

Our speaker is Michael Scheidell, CCISO, one of our board members, accomplished conference speaker and security expert as he explains the fundamentals of the framework and how it can be used by both small and large organizations to measure and track IT Risks associated with CyberSecurity.

Attendees will receive access to an executive summary template they can use in their organizations if they wish to use the NIST CSF as part of their overall CyberSecurity Program.

This workshop is sponsored by Cloud Computing Concepts (C3) and Rick Mancinelli, President of C3 and proud member of the South Florida InfraGard.
