Lots of buzz around Xamarin http://xamarin.com/ and Microsoft expanding their collaboration in delivering a Cross Platform Developer Solution. This is not a web solution, rather a rich client compiled from a shared C# Visual Studio IDE code base for iOS, Android and Windows Apps.
