You probably already own Master Data Services and Data Quality Services. Many organizations do not realize these technologies exist in the SQL Server product and may not know how to get started and take full advantage of them. In this session we will provide an overview of the technologies and how they fit together to provide your organization with a master data set with on-going data integrity. We will then roll up our sleeves and jump into heavy demos to create a Master Data model from scratch in MDS and then scrub that model using DQS to produce a polished, living master data set.
About the speakers: Patricia Peterson is a BI Architect with TekPartners BI Solutions, a South Florida BI, Data Platform and PDW Microsoft partner. Patricia specializes in a business-focused approach to information, helping clients get the most out of their analytic solutions. Anthony Sammartino co-founded the BI Solutions division of TekPartners and has been building BI solutions with the Microsoft technologies for 15 years.
