How did project management software come about? It’s actually a pretty interesting and remarkable story. Most people don’t realize that project management software is actually 55 years old this year! And it and was one of the very first “software applications” ever developed.

This presentation will explain the history of the tools you use every day. The project management industry owes it origins to one enlightened US company and 4 absolutely brilliant men who are the true pioneers of today’s multi-billion dollar PM software industry.

You will be surprised to learn how many of today’s tools owe their existence to the techniques create by these gentlemen in the late 1950s. And how connected these individuals were to the early days of computer technology, and even “where did the term software bugs come from”?
