**Note: We are in Room 3032-3034 on the 3rd Floor.***

This meetup is free as a courtesy due to last month’s mixup.

The agenda:

  • Start at 6:30
  • Networking (15 mins)
  • South Florida WordPress Group Goals and Initiatives (10 mins)
  • Main Presentation: “WordPress: Design on a Dime”
  • Second Presentation: “Podcasting with WordPress”
  • Questions and Answers (20 mins)
  • Giveaways
  • Networking: time left

*****************************************************

The first topic is titled “WordPress: Design on a Dime” and will be directed at the business owner to educate them on what options are available for using WordPress, how/when to use a consultant, deciding on what kind of them to use, and most importantly, how to save $$$$.

The talk will not be technical but will be geared toward people who have little to no technical experience with HTML, CSS, PHP and will explain what these things are enough so that they can deal with a consultant.

Speaker Bio:

Rick Tuttle is a Miami web developer and has supported the WPMIA community over the years at meetups and WordCamp. Rick has been in a co-dependent relationship with WordPress for longer than he can remember. A technology agnostic, he is a .NET and SQL Server Developer in his day job and tries to write WP themes and plugins in his spare time.
