Android Essentials
This course is a hands-on introduction to designing and building mobile applications for the Android™ open source platform. This feature rich, fast-paced course will show the participant, systematically, how to get started in Android development. The course dives into the basics including how to create Android™ GUI applications (basic to intermediate complexity) as well as using built-in widgets and components, using services and multimedia. This is the perfect beginner’s course for anyone who wants to quickly get up to speed creating applications for an Android™ device.
iOS Essentials
This course is a hands-on introduction to designing and building mobile applications for the Apple iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. This feature rich, fast-paced course will show the participant, systematically, how to get started in iOS development. The course dives into the basics of Objective-C and the iOS development tools to create iOS applications. This is the perfect beginner’s course for anyone who wants to quickly get up to speed creating applications for iOS devices.
